“Butler Landscapes completed a landscape project (building a terraced area, pathways and driveways, two raised beds as well as a small amount of planting) in our suburban garden in the summer of 2016. We had plans for a garden design drawn up before meeting Sharon and Paul - but these needed modifying in order to keep the project within the budget. Paul was very helpful in suggesting the elements of re-design that would keep the price down to what we could afford, and having giving us a price he stuck to it for the entirety of the work - no hidden extras, no last minute requests for extra money. Compared to past experiences it was an absolute joy! I felt that both Sharon and Paul listened to what we wanted, and didn't try and persuade us to have a design or style that we were not comfortable with, but did suggest modifications that would improve on the the practicalities or look of the design - and we were very happy with these suggestions. The work itself was completed to a very high standard, the men working on the project worked hard and felt trustworthy, which was important to me as I was out at work for much of the time. The work did take longer to complete than initially anticipated, but this was largely due to the weather - which was not under Butler Landscapes' control. Paul ensured that all the loose ends were tied up before he asked for the final payment, coming back to the site a couple of times to ensure that all the last bits and pieces of work were finished. We are delighted with the end result and looking forward to enjoying it properly after the winter.”

“Wanting a re-think of our back garden we contacted Louise , from the very first meeting we felt she understood exactly what we wanted from a garden.At every stage of the design we were consulted and involved , the team building the garden were fantastic nothing was ever too much trouble for Louise and the build team .We now have a wonderful garden that more than fulfills what we had planned ! We cannot recommend Louise highly enough , if you want someone who is friendly, listens , takes pride in every aspect of the work and most importantly delivers an outstanding garden , then contact Blue Tulip you will not be disappointed !”

“We hired the services of April House Garden in 2021 to design the landscape of our newly rebuilt cottage. Fast forward to the end of 2023 the garden looks incredibly beautiful which includes a diverse assortment of flowers, plants, and some trees. “Dominic Stone of Bottle Kiln Design first provided a garden design and install contract at my previous property Old Engine Farm, Ashover Derbyshire in the early 1980's. I moved to Derry House, Matlock in 1997. I again sought Dominic out to provide a complete garden design and install, first in the late 1990's and again a more recently to refresh the original scheme with new paving to rear areas and to pave the original tarmac drive plus to lay significant surface water drainage channels and pipes. The experience I have of Dominic and his company is beyond excellent in terms of design expertise, product knowledge, installation skill, prompt work scheduling and commitment to his customer. His pricing has always been in my view realistic. In terms of his personal integrity, from the considerable experience I have had over a prolonged period of time it is beyond question, one hundred percent reliable.”

“Tina was fabulous from start to finish. We had a long thin London Garden with no shape - but a beautiful Beech Tree in the middle - and she turned it into a journey of discovery. By creating different Seating Areas, Curved Walls, curved Flower beds and advice on Planting, our garden has become a pleasure to sit in all year and all day long. I have some planting knowledge myself but lack the ability to visualise the whole garden. We had great fun going through different options, planning areas and keeping existing plants in some areas and moving others. Tina listened to my thoughts and ideas, worked what was practical into the project and when the work finally started I felt very confident that the finished Garden would be perfect. We also had to fit in a Table Tennis Table. The finished Project was better than expected, I took my time researching Brick colours and Patio slabs and chatting to Tina about how they would enhance the plants around them. And it really worked. The garden was completed in August 2023 and I couldn't be happier. Just enjoying the bulbs popping their heads up now. Thanks Tina.”

“We really enjoyed working with Victoria. She helped us redesign our rather tired garden layout and unimaginative plants. After an initial meeting , Victoria produced some really interesting concept designs. Her extensive plant knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm have helped us create an all round garden. It’s a pleasure to look out every day to see what’s new and to observe the seasonal changes. We’ve had lots of very positive comments from friends and passers by. Victoria project managed the transformation and had a good team working alongside her. She is very professional and brought the scheme in on budget and to an agreed timescale.
