“The Hursthouse team patiently spent many hours developing a detailed and extensive renovation plan for our entire property. Major features of the plan included: --installing a brick paver driveway bordered by a snapcut limestone retaining wall --installing bluestone front entry walk and porch --rebuilding backyard bluestone patio and new courtyard area with water fountain and cast iron fence border --extensive landscape lighting both front and back --installing imported planter urns on pedestals --extensive tree & shrub planting, perennials & ground cover. The design added great value and enhanced our enjoyment of our property in ways we never anticipated. “We had recently added a sunroom and needed some landscaping done in our backyard around the new room. We also decided to put in a patio adjacent to the sunroom. We have a slanted backyard, so we really needed advice on how to accomplish this. In addition, we needed a landscaper to work with us as the contractor finished our deck so everything would flow together. We had an idea of what we wanted, but were really looking for advice and recommendations. We talked to three different landscapers and decided to go with Western DuPage Landscaping. The designer, Nicole, had some great suggestions for our project and worked within the budget we gave her. She patiently explained the difference in pricing between the various pavers available and also recommended plants and shrubs that would grow in our very shaded backyard. Our project came in on budget and in the time frame given. We are very happy with the work done and would not hesitate to return to WDL for future work.”

“Heffernan Landscape Design designed and installed a garden and patio after gut-rehab and addition built to my home. The architecture of my home, my needs, wish list and my abilitiy as a gardner were taken into account when the garden was designed. A large patio with seating, greenspace, herb garden, and shade trees was installed. Excellent work with beautiful results. Courteous crew left the area spotless.”

“Montano's installed a beautiful unilock Stonehenge paver driveway and walkway for me. Montano ownwership helped me select the type of paver and the color. The Stonehenge paver selected comes in three sizes with a textured side. I let Montano determine the paver design and pattern to use. I was not disappointed. This project replaced an aging red hollandstone driveway/walkway needings repairs. The Stonehenge paver was a substantial upgrade. The brick crew arrived promptly on the jobsite each day. The crew was well organized and it was obvious they were skilled in the paver technology. The crew was very professional and customer focused. The crew was also available to answer any questions and/or concerns I had in a timely manner. Ownership was frequently on the jobsite to ensure the project was flowing smoothly and address any concerns I had from the management perspective. This project weathered the 2014/2015 winter season and still looks brand new today. I also had Montano install a matching paver mailbox the Fall of 2014. The mailbox came out gorgeous. Montano's suggested installing a concrete plaque with my house numbers on the front of the paver mailbox structure. This feature really made the mailbox standout. Montano's is a real professional contractor to work. Together, we developed the scope of the projects. The projects were completed on-time and within budget. I also thought the paver driveway, walkway, and mailbox were fairly priced.”
