Morgan did extensive work for me last summer (2019) reclaiming old established gardens that had been neglected in recent years. Morgan approached this job with cheerful determination, impressive organization, and a thoughtful approach to learn all she could from exploring the lingering remnants of these once lovely grounds. “Home Outside helped us transform our backyard -- a boring bowling-alley of grass that we hated -- into an inspiring, magical, and well-loved space that we enjoy and are so proud of. We did their easy online questionnaire, emailed photos and videos of our property, and they sent us 2 totally creative and different designs to choose from. We asked them to combine aspects of each design into the final product, and then we got to work. When it came time to plant, we had some questions about plants and placements -- this is our first garden ever -- and Home Outside answered all our questions. We loved, loved, loved that we could do all the work ourselves, at our own pace, and still have this sophisticated and interesting design that we never, in a million years, could have created without Home Outside. We can't believe that our little backyard received the attention, focus, expertise, experience and creativity of these highly skilled and talented designers. Amazing to us that we had access to them. We are so glad we put some money into an excellent design that works for us. It's made all the difference. Totally worth every single penny.”

“Josh Marceau and all the fellas from Total Grounds did an excellent job. Our project turned into a larger, more difficult exercise than anyone of us thought it would be. Josh was able to provide excellent advise and creative solutions to unexpected issues. When necessary he brought in third party experts for product and engineering consultation. The guys were diligent and kept a pristine work site. Working under a deadline they were able to finish up just in time for us to hold a wedding celebration at our house. Guests arrived from all over the country and they uniformly praised the work. It was a big success and our thanks goes to Total Grounds. I would recommend the firm to anyone for projects large and small. Thanks Total Grounds.”

“I hired Kathy to remove old, overgrown existing bushes and plantings and design a new garden and walkway border in front of my house.She came up with a beautiful plan that utilized low maintenance plants that were indigenous to the area and could be maintained with organic gardening methods.Since I live near a salt marsh,I did not want herbicides and pesticides used on my property in case of run-off into the ocean.I gave her my favorite colors and flower suggestions and she did the rest.She was very hardworking and came when scheduled so I felt she was very reliable.Her fees were fairly priced and I found her to be a pleasure to work with.I have recommended her to several of my neighbors and friends.”
