“DeMichele, Inc. drastically improved our property. They installed a brick front walkway and flagstone steps (with lighting) leading to our front door. They spruced up our portico by capping the wood with siding, adding new columns and a flagstone landing. Also, Belgian blocks were installed along the edge of our driveway. Lastly they provided an excellent design plan and added all new landscaping. Everyone of the staff were wonderful to work with. Elizabeth was very patient with the millions of questions I had and very knowledgeable about the different plant options. The landscaping was done in November and Elizabeth followed up in the spring to make sure all of the plants survived the winter. The crew that did the work, led by Thomas (accent over the a?) were very friendly and did a great job. We are very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend DeMichele. “We have hired Laura for several jobs in our yard, including building a 3-section compost bin with removable slats, an enclosure for our vegetable garden, and a very large fence enclosure for our dogs. The projects were done a few years ago, and there has been no deterioration at all in the materials, even with the rather severe weather we have had. Laura was always punctual, communicated clearly with us, worked very hard for long days, and completed her work without requiring any supervision or additional instruction. She is careful to use materials that are environmentally safe. Her work is of the highest quality; even other contractors seeing her work have commented on how well done the projects have been.”

“We contracted with The Landscape Design Center to provide a consultation and subsequent installation of a full landscape lighting update. Although we already had landscape lighting in place for a number of years, as the trees and shrubs have grown we were feeling like the existing lighting did not accentuate the natural beauty of the property nor did it provide adequate path lighting on parts of the property. Our first step was to meet with a Landscape Designer from the Landscape Design Center. She was very knowledgeable with great and creative ideas..... Exactly what we needed. She not only designed the project but also managed the project from start to finish. She also coordinated with our electrician to ensure proper coordination with out Lutron System. In all aspects, she was outstanding! The installation itself was also outstanding. This was a complete makeover. So we expected the lawn and planting beds may be pretty torn up when the project was complete. We were surprised when that was not the case at all. All of the installation was done in a professional and clean manner. You can barely tell that we had any work done at all. The end result is amazing. The new lighting brings out all the best in the property. We can't wait until warmer weather when we spend more time outdoors and really get to enjoy it even more.”

Miles created a private oasis with pool and full landscaping in the rear yard of an historic house that I renovated in Chestertown, MD as well as doing full landscaping design services for a 5 1/2 acre property on Broad Creek in Annapolis, MD. Miles was especially helpful in working with the county government to get me through the extensive permitting process required to build a new house in the Critical Buffer Zone along a body of water in Annapolis.
