Their staff was on-time, professional, and very good at communicating during the project to help us get exactly what we envisioned for an end project. We have already recommended them to a few friends and they have followed up twice with us to see how we like the final product and check to see if any additional touch ups are needed. “I hired Take Root Gardens in March of 2014 for a total overhaul of our modest Vancouver backyard. Not only was the execution flawless, they added a lot of value in the design and planning stage, with some great suggestions that worked out really well. During the actual work, they were always right on time, took very good care of our property during the work, and cleaned up spotlessly, even going so far as to powerwash our deck, which was not part of the project. What stood out the most, was how much care they took, and how detail oriented they were. The overall quote was very reasonable, and they came in right on budget and on time. I would hire Ty & Matt again in a second and highly recommend them.”

“Two projects have been done. The first was the removal and rebuilding of a patio including installing a drainage system for the entire back yard of our home. The second was the removal and complete reconstruction of large water feature which includes a stream, pond and water circulation system. Work on both projects featured reliable starting when promised, expeditious carrying out of the work and excellent quality of work. We appreciated and implemented recommendations made by the owner and his project foreman which was a bonus in having Kennedy Landscaping do the work. Highly recommended.”

“Lawn Enforcement won the contract to install the substrate and plants in fourteen raised planters along Hastings Street in Vancouver for the Hastings Urban Tree Nursery. The crew were phenomenal. We experienced a number of delays leading up to installation, and were under intense time pressures during installation, and Lawn Enforcement came through at every stage with courtesy, patience, efficiency, and unbridled enthusiasm. The cost also came in well within budget. We loved working with Cole and his team!”

“We hired Botanica to do our front yard landscape design and installation, and we were so happy with the work that we hired them again the next year to do our backyard. We have a very unique pie-shaped lot, which made the design a lot more challenging than a typical lot shape. The Botanica team did a great job listening to our overall objectives, and translated that into a design that made the most of the space. Karin and Otto were very respectful of the fact that we had a specific budget for the project, and they worked within that budget. The installation crew was great - always professional, and very hard working. The work Botanica did really transformed our outdoor space, and we would highly recommend them.”

“Hazel was a delight to deal with right from our very first telephone conversation. She met with us at our home and together we talked about all the hopes my husband and I had for our tiny backyard. Because of her great depth of knowledge, Hazel was able to help us hone in on certain things and educate us on what would and wouldn't be possible, saving us a lot of time, energy and money. Hazel created a beautiful plan that not only gave us a great "visual" of what our future yard would look like, but she also provided us with a a detailed lighting plan, materials list and a comprehensive list of plants to purchase. We were also able to get recommendations for tradespeople and where to buy the best plants. Hazel far exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!”

“Over the past year, Ranjith has completed a number of time-consuming, physically challenging landscaping projects at our residential property. Some examples are: . Preparing the terrain and adding river rocks for drainage around the perimeter of the house . Preparing the terrain and adding pea gravel to a wide area around our raised garden beds. . Helping us re-landscape a large section of our backyard by removing dead and dying plants, shrubs and small trees, and planting new ones. . Removing over 150 large decorative stones from another section of the backyard and planting new sod to double our green space. . Artistically rearranging these decorative stones around landscaped sections of the front yard to diminish erosion and enhance the beauty of these areas. It is important to mention that Ranjith is always polite, professional and punctual. He works diligently to complete projects in a timely and competent manner. In this short period of time, he helped us transform a jungle-like property into an aesthetically pleasing and inviting exterior space. We highly recommend Ranjith for his competence, work ethic and professionalism.”
