These have included rehabbing the master bath, re-insulating the attic, replacing A/C units, configuring outdoor drainage, and much more. “Jason came in gave me a quote and a time frame and showed up on time a worked on my bathroom. Showed up everyday when he said he would. If he ran into any type of problem, he would let me know and usually have a solution ready for me, which usually worked quite well. I hired him a second time to do some touch ups in the kitchen and he did a subperb job there as well. Will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.”

“We purchased a house built in the mid 70s that hadn't been touched since the mid 70s. We've spent the last four years fixing up almost every room in the house, and the kitchen was the last room we had left. While we were happy with the other rooms, we weren't excited about the contractors we had used to complete the jobs. Going into the kitchen remodel we were half expecting another average experience, but the final product is exactly what we wanted. We are very pleased with how our kitchen turned out. I love everything about it. The job was completed within the timeframe quoted and on budget. There were a few hiccups here and there, but they were all addressed and resolved timely and efficiently. All of the crew - Roy, Troy and Apollo are very friendly, responsive and responsible. I would recommend them to anybody looking to remodel their kitchen.”

“I hired Craig Thompson (CSS-Tile) to do the following in my kitchen: Remove and replace existing laminate countertops with granite. Remove and replace existing tile backsplash with new tile backsplash. Install new sink and faucet. Enlarge the bar area. All the work was completely done beyond my expectations. Craig is a master at installing tile. His attention to detail was wonderful. He helped me in the selection of the tile, granite, sink and faucet. He was on-site when the granite was installed and made sure everything was done correctly. He built out the bar area with undermount supports that makes the bar seem to float with no obtrusive corbels. This was something I was unaware could be done and I know took longer to install than traditional supports. I'm grateful that he came up with that option. The project was completed on time and I'm extememly happy with the results.”

They question everything to help insure that the quality and final results they deliver to their clients is Top Notch and what was promised. As with any construction related business, issues always arise, but the professional manner to which they address and handle those issues is also impressive and I’ve worked with a lot of builders. If you’d like to work with a smaller Custom Builder that will actually have time to work with you, instead of throwing you into que, or pawning you off on less qualified, less caring subordinates…Double R Builders could be a good choice for you.””

I first met Joe in 2006 when we both worked in the Washington, D.C. market (he in design and me in remodeling) and learned why he has been so successful in design. Having been around the industry my whole life I have come to pick out different projects from well known designers by their "signature" elements. With Joe his only signature is stunningly beautiful design with every project. Considering a designer for your project? At the absolute minimum, give Joe the opportunity to provide input. “Chad, Anne and Glen are the type of individuals you want working for you! They are professional in every way. This team cares about the quality of work during every phase from the bidding of the contract to the last item needing to be done. Anne who does all the bidding is one of the most patient people as this phase is the going back and forth from contrator to customer phase. She never gets irritated with questions, no matter how many you ask! Chad, the owner is as professional as it gets, putting only the highest quality of work to his name. Glen, who does much of the labor is one of the most laid back guys I have ever come across, who does the highest quality of work and he is incredibly trustworty. You never have to worry about any of these guys in your house if you are working. They know what needs to be done and you do not have to worry about any of it getting done correctly. They take great pride in what they do and will correct any issues that may come up as this is part of the remodel process from time to time. The quality of work is surperb. They have remodeled two bathrooms for us and we are incredibly happy with both. We still have a master bath to remodel and would use them again in a heartbeat.”
