“Claire worked with us on the remodelling & refurbishment of a barn conversion. Claire provided the furniture and appliances for the kitchen area (island, ovens, fridges), utility room (storage, 2nd sink) and boot room (storage & laundry). The overall design was completed through four iterations as the overall project took shape with the architect. Claire led with the design and was also very receptive about our suggestions & ideas. Testing different ideas in the computer model was never too much trouble and the final design incorporated all our 'wish list' of items - including hiding the gun cabinet! The close liaison with the architect and the general contractor to coordinate details of the layout and bespoke sizes went extremely well and virtually to the millimetre. (Some aspects of the barn meant standard sizes weren't appropriate). Claire provided a full set of drawings & water/electrical/lighting requirements to the architect. Similarly, she kept her model up to date with the architect's design so that a good picture of the intended result was available. Claire monitored the build progress with us and the architect, and visited site a couple of times to ensure that all was progressing as per drawings. Delivery of the furniture & equipment was right on the schedule as requested, and then coordinating the fitting with the general contractor's trades was tied in as necessary with no dramas. The final finish we have found to be excellent, and now three months since we moved back into the house we are absolutely pleased with it and haven't found any issues - either detailed quality or 'what if we had just...'! Our project took 15 months from grant of planning permission for the barn rebuild and the initial meeting with Claire in Jan 17 to completion in March 18. The relationship throughout was clear, firm, professional but also very friendly with the whole project team. We would be very happy to work with Claire again on our next project.”
