“NW Flooring are true craftsman, they did an amazing job refinishing some very beat up oak hardwoods, had to replace several boards and also put in base shoe trim to finish it all off. They also installed new stair treads and they look incredible. Very fast work and reasonable pricing. Volodymyr and his family are a great small business to hire and they do all the work themselves with enormous pride and hard work. Thanks for making our old home look like new again.”

“We just completed a remodel of our kitchen and master bathroom. We worked with Andre from design to installation and I cannot say enough about his helpfulness and his professionalism. His advice on our selections were based on his experience with the different products. i also like his huge photo album of previous jobs, it's a good reference tool. He was excellent at keeping us informed on the schedule and was always readily available to answer our questions. Customer service is number one with Haight Interiors and I highly recommend them for your tile, carpet or hardwood needs.”

“Alex was very knowledgeable and provided the best estimate experience of the vendors we selected for quotes- he also had a very competitive price. He was able to work us in to his schedule in a very timely manner. The job was quite a bit involved but Alex stayed on schedule; the site was maintained in a very clean way each day which was much appreciated as we had to live in the house while he was working for most of the time. Communication was good. The craftsmanship is really spectacular, with framing around the fireplace, etc. We had white oak installed on the entire 1st floor, on the staircase, and upstairs landing, and Alex demo'd the old carpet, laminate, vinyl, and some hardwood that the house had previously. We also had all of the baseboards replaced with taller ones. The final product looks better than we thought it could look, and has proven to be durable to date with two dogs in the house. We did not stain the wood and they used the Swedish Finish which was the right choice for our home- we are so glad we followed Alex's advice on this as the floors look amazing. The smell went away very quickly, and the floors held up very well without a scratch during a party a week after they were finished. I will recommend this company to all of our friends and family, and will absolutely call them again if we ever need flooring or refinishing.”

“Sound Hardwood flooring has installed the floors in two different houses I have owned in Port Townsend. The Owner Michael Morrow is very knowledgeable about all types of wood flooring and including bamboo flooring. I can't say enough about how he took me through the whole process of having wood floors from start to finish and yes flooring finish as well which becomes a big part of the floor. I learned so much about flooring that I will use in the future and have advised my family about flooring. If you want knowledgeable persons helping you through the process with over 30 years of experience I recommend you call Michael at Sound Hardwood Flooring. “Adam and his wife, Yolanda (I hope I have her name correct!), refinished and wove in new oak floors for the upstairs remodel of our home. They also laid new floors on the stairs to the downstairs living area. They did an awesome job all around. Adam told us that his system is "dust free" and he was correct. He also told us that we wouldn't need to move out of the house for a period of time due to toxic odors from the finishing products. Again, he was correct. Adam gave us an estimate of how long the project would take and he was done a day early! They even waited a month or two to do the final buffing and finishing so that we could get our cabinets in. Adam is both and artist and a perfectionist and, if I ever have a need for wood flooring work in the future, I would not hesitate to call him. We are very happy with our floors!”

“These guys were great! We didn't have a huge project but ours was a bit difficult. We bought sculpted, high quality carpet for the 2nd floor hall and bedroom, and also the stairways on 2 floors. The stairs were cut and bound in the traditional way with oak flooring showing on either side from underneath. The father and son subcontractors they always use did a great job and finished up in 2 days with meticulous care.”

“We hired Matt to refinish our oak floors in our 1947 Shoreline house and had an extremely positive experience. The floors had not been well cared for and were in rough shape. Matt gave us expert advice on how to approach the job and we wound up with a simply gorgeous end result. He was able to accommodate our very tight schedule. He and his team were punctual, courteous, very responsive, and amazingly efficient. He offered competitive and transparent pricing. “Dinu was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He came out in person to give us a quote and to also do some moisture tests on the concrete as it was in our basement. I've had other moisture tests done in the past in other homes and his technique is the most accurate and trust worthy. His quote came back and was in the ball park and he seemed to have the best reviews on Angies list so we chose him. His services are in high demand but he was able to due our job in just a few weeks. His team of helpers arrived and taped off adjoining rooms, closets, etc to keep any dust out and went to work. They went to work and I kept checking in on them as I wanted to make sure it was going exactly as I wanted. There were a couple stairs he also put wood on and a vertical area under a fireplace. I could tell he loves what he does and chooses to do it properly. It took just two days to finish the job and when done they cleaned up very thoroughly. He and his helpers were punctual and very pleasant to work with. I'll definitely use him again when I redo other areas of the house!”
