“Bill Germaine and his team were very professionals and easy to work with. I contracted B&B to paint the exterior of my home and replace the soffits. They did a great job. They also did some extra repair work on the exterior free of charge outside the contract. The project started on time and was completed ahead of schedule.”

“Provost Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn, shrubs, sprinkler system since our previous company closed. They fixed our sprinkler system which had been a huge problem for many years and planted arborvitae against our back fence along with much beds and it’s own sprinkler system.”

“Taylec has done two large remodeling projects on our house. The first project was a large 2 car garage with family room above it and a small entryway in the front of the house. The second project was a full remodel of our kitchen that also involved moving the location of our stairs down to the basement. Doing large remodeling projects can be very stressful. Luckily, Roman was a great communicator throughout the projects and always willing to answer our call whenever we had questions. He also provided guidance throughout the construction to make sure we got the best quality within our budget. I could not be happier with Taylec and would recommend them for any project you have in mind.”

“In 2007, had all windows replaced with new construction windows. Windows were Andersen 400 series wood. Work included stained interior trim and panel inserts. Work was done on schedule and stain color was meticulously matched with older woodwork in house. Very professional, responsive crew. In 2008, had screened porch re-screened, with screens on outside rather than inside. Also had several sections of trim boards replaced with Azek. Contractor came up with innovative approach to installing screens and providing kick protection on the inside. Again the job was done on schedule, very professionally. Date listed is latest work. Cost listed is for all jobs described above.”

“Fresh Start was excellent to work with from start to finish. They ordered a gorgeous reclaimed Heart Pine floor in our #1 Quartersawn grade for a high-end renovation job in Harvard Square. The job was well-organized and the schedule was budgeted appropriately to allow for flooring acclimation and installation times. Jobsite was neat and orderly and delivery was organized/executed well, despite the extremely narrow side street and tight driveways of the neighborhood. From start to finish, Fresh Start was easy to work with. They knew how to plan for and work with a high-end finish product and treated it and us with respect. Our experience working with them to patch historic white pine and Heart Pine floors in the area has been similar. We recommend their work to clients in the Boston area.”

“Escala Construction has completed several projects for us over the past few years, including carpentry, roofing, plastering and painting. Work has been of the highest quality (and as a retired architect, I can be very particular about work done on my home), and the crews have been prompt, courteous and neat. For one project, they restored historic woodwork on our home's exterior, taking great care to match the period detailing exactly, and at another time, after we suffered roof damage from a severe storm, they were here right away and had the roof weathertight the next day. Older homes like ours always need work on one thing or another, and we will continue to rely on Escala Construction.”
