“Kevin and Fred of KP Renovations were fantastic to work with. Based on a floor plan done by Organized Living by Deborah, they turned my cluttered, unusable basement into a fantastic place for the whole family. Many of the pictures are here on Houzz. They gave me a realistic but extremely competitive estimate. They showed up to do the work when they said they would. They kept me informed of their progress and answered all of my questions. They opened up a wall, built custom doors under the staircase to hide the unsightly water system. They installed a drop ceiling, laminate flooring, custom edging on the stairs, so as to use laminate there also. They built a custom closet to my specifications to store all of our camping/outdoor gear. Best of all, they did my craft area exactly as I wanted it. I was very specific about having the shelving fit my 12x12 scrapbooks and they made sure I checked the work before they finished. They did all the drywalling and painting. The only thing they didn't do was the electrical work, which didn't go nearly as well. Both men were complete gentlemen, and I had no concerns having them in our house. They were respectful of our home, family and time. I didn't have to worry about our kids hearing four-letter words. I was very apprehensive to have such a large job done, but KP Renovations delivered the goods. I can now sit at my craft desk while my husband sits at the bar watching sports. When we have a houseful of kids, we can send them downstairs to play, and still have room on the main floor for the adults to socialize. After completing the work, they've gone on to do work for some of my friends and neighbours and they are all equally impressed. I wish them all the good luck and success they deserve!
