“We have used Monks several times. Our most recent project involved refinishing our floors and painting some inside of our house. These guys answer their phones, show up on time and give you a quote on their first visit. Then they started on time and finished on time. They weren't the cheapest way to go, but they were the only company I found that could handle the painting, floors and carpentry without subbing everything out. We felt it was worth the money to have one company running the entire project and we were right.”

“We hired HAP Construction for a complete renovation of my apartment. From start, to finish both Eli and the team was always honest with what could and could not be done. They are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. They were always readily available and responsive to any questions or change requests. I received detailed status updates along with pictures as the work progressed. They are the real deal, prompt, professional, and honest. I would highly recommend them for any renovations needed in your home.”

“Pulatani Builders transformed my outdated ( at the time of purchase ) Hell’s Kitchen loft into my “forever home.” Alex and his team went above and beyond as far as craftsmanship is concerned , and what’s more impressive is that my building’s super actually got along great with him and his team as well. This was largely because of the standards they maintain as far as dust and protection of common spaces is concerned. A+ job , happy to endorse and recommend them for any renovations in NYC.”

“Dino installed our kitchen cabinets with perfect precision and detail. He built our island beautifully like a piece of furniture. He sat with us through the entire kitchen design to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and that all designs made sense with functionality and fit. He often followed up with vendors to ensure we got what we paid for and received the best finished product. Dino was a great liaison for us to source the right products and subcontractors, we are not in the construction business and this was our first home and renovation. He spent all the time we needed with us and we never felt rushed. He completed our project down to last detail before moving onto his next job. We felt we could then and still can call him anytime with questions.”

“HIRE SOTO USA!! I could not be happier with the professionalism, price, and finished kitchen that Rob Soto and his team created. He was responsible for the following components, - managing relationships with all subcontractors, my building, and my super - demolishing the entire kitchen - placing new baseboards in the entire living space - placing down new tile floors in the kitchen - rerouting and installing new plumbing - building cabinetry - rewiring and installing new ceiling lighting - installing inside-and-underneath cabinet lighting - painting ceiling, walls - installing all appliances - placing backsplash - adding any fixtures (like door handles) - any and all touch-ups ("DETAILS" - says Rob) I hired him not only based on his fair price, but also his passion. This is a man who deeply cares about his product and his performance. I met with many other contractors, and no one impressed me as much as Rob did. He works on his own schedule, however, that is because he keeps himself very busy. Giving Rob the benefit of the doubt will never steer you wrong. He has amazing follow-through, attention to detail, and an eye for design. The type of work he does requires patience, and especially when you live in a small space as I do (i.e. Manhattan). I cannot recommend him enough.”

“They gave me a 900 sqft 2nd floor addition with entire 1st floor alterations. This project included a kitchen, three baths, hardwood flooring, roofing, siding, windows, two decks, etc!! They also built a detached garage and took care of all my landscaping. The project was a huge success. They did what was promised and finished before the expected complete date. There price was fair and they stuck to it. There were no extra charges as the project was being done. They were on time, respectful, professional and pleasure to deal with. Everyone in their crew was excellent.”

“Let me first off start by stating, that I usually don't write reviews. That being said, Erna Properties deserves my time to write this review. I have been working with Dave the owner since the summer of 2016. He is extremely hands on, attentive to detail and professional. He is a man of his word, when he says he will be somewhere at a specific time, he means it. His workers show up for a full days work and leave the area clean. I'm not easy to please, I'm one of those people that like to be hands on and do multiple inspections during a project. Not only did Dave not have a problem with it, he welcomed it. His motto is; "on time, on budget and done my way (the client)" can you get better? We feel very blessed to have found him and to be working with him. I know that when we move into our new home, this building process will be the first of many fond memories to come. I know that spending your hard earned money is a big deal and choosing the right contractor is essential for peace of mind. Dave and his company realize that too, they will treat you like family and respect your time and money as if it were their own. I can't recommend them highly enough. You won't be sorry when you hire them.”
