I wasn’t really even sure what I was going for with my bathroom remodel and he was amazing with guiding me on ideas with what’s modern, traditional or a mix of both. Execution was on point and I could not be happier. I get so many compliments on the design and quality of work. Definitely recommend him, and he will be who I call to do my kitchen remodel, as well.”

“Cut masters did an amazing job adding custom details to our otherwise boring old house! They put built in's on either side of our fireplace and trimmed around out flat screen TV. In addition to that they put beautiful crown molding, chair rail and wainscoting on the main floor. It has absolutely transformed our house into a home. Lastly, they put a classic Carrara marble backsplash in the kitchen, a custom mirror surround in the powder room and opened up the wall from the kitchen to the family room! AMAZING!!!”

“Paul Knopp was the general contractor on an addition to our house that doubled its size. We feel that Paul put together a very high quality group of workers who built a very high quality structure. Paul worked with us as we made changes to the original plans along the way. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Six years later we have had no issues with our addition!”

“Whelan has helped us completely redo our house. They redesigned our kitchen, moved our laundry room upstairs, redesigned our master bathroom, redid 2 other bathrooms, replaced half our windows, front door, hard wood floors, deck, and water heater. Throughout all the projects they worked with us on the design and cost upfront and stuck to it. They communicated well during the project and always left the house clean, even in the midst of messy projects. It isn’t fun living through major construction, but they worked with us to make it as easy as they could. All the projects are spectacular and we get so many compliments when we entertain. I would highly recommend working with Whelan Builders!”

“David Slack, owner of Aegis Construction, is by far the most competent, professional contractor we've ever done business with. He completely renovated our basement that had sustained extensive water damage. The entire project was explained in detail after we had discussed our ideas, with David working directly with our insurance company, and giving his invaluable insight on all of our options. Everything was done on time, within budget, and exactly as promised. He is such a perfectionist. We couldn't be more pleased, and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a home improvement project.”

“We had all our windows and siding replaced by Creekwood Homes. Dee and Rick could not have been more patient and helpful in the planning and execution of our remodel. They came over numerous times to go over everything we wanted. They brought samples of siding and trim, and other items to make sure we knew what we were purchasing, and why. Their crew did an outstanding job stripping off old siding, installing new windows as they repaired underlayment and put up new siding. His person who stained the windows on the inside did a great job. They matched the trim to the existing interior door and base trim color quite well. Rick also found a GOOD gutter guy to replace my gutters and a blacktop installer to redo my driveway. Now some may say that I would have saved money if I found my own contractors for the work Creekwood did not do. I disagree! Rick knows all the contractors in Kane County. He knows who is good and reliable. If you do a large project like ours, and one of your ‘self-found’ contractors cancels his scheduled time for his work; the whole job gets messed up. I chose Rick and Dee for this reason. They came at the start and did not leave until they were finished. There was no “We’ll be back in a week or 2 to finish up”. How much is that worth? The price quoted on the estimate was what we paid. NO UPS AND NO EXTRA’S. They dotted their I’s and crossed their T’s on the quote. I cannot recommend Creekwood Homes enough. “A few years ago, John did some work in my home, insulating my attic, and blowing out the vents throughout my house. John and his assistant were wonderful to work with. They were easy to get along with, explained everything they did, and were very efficient. John was fair in his pricing, and I would trust John to do anything in my home.”
