“I have been been working with this company on various projects for many years. I have never been disappointed, and their eye for detail and project management skills has exceeded my expectations. High quality work, very knowledgeable staff, and a great value. Latest project required color matching new shelf units to old library panels. Came out great, just like it was part of the original 50+ year old installation! I don't own a wood boat, but have inspected some of their restoration work and the finish was flawless. Looked like a piece of high end furniture. If true quality is important to you, I would absolutely recommend that you contact them.”

“I am going to start with some negative comments first. I purchased family room furniture from the Lombard "Oak Brook" Ethan Allen store. I called first and made an appointment and told the sales rep that I wanted the retreat sectional in dark brown leather. I also let her know I wanted additional pieces but I was not sure what would coordinate and fit with my room. I spent about an hour and purchased two Avery chairs, one Avery ottoman, and the sectional. I left telling the rep that I still needed tables etc. and she said she would review and get back to me. I made several phone calls and sent her two email messages and NEVER heard back. Really? I was thoughtful enough to make and appointment when 99% of the time I am sure it's all just walk in business, was decisive on my decisions and didn't make her go through the trouble of doing a home visit. After spending all that money and telling her I wanted to spend more she couldn't even bother to send me an email? Frustrated, I headed out to several other stores, Macy's, Carson's, Walter E Smithe etc, but couldn't find a thing so I headed over to Ethan Allen in Naperville, wow, what a difference in service. I cannot say enough nice things about Denise Mullen. I explained my issues with the other store and she assured me things were much different, I guess she would actually let me spend my money. I only spent about 15 minutes with her but she took all my information, had my floor plan, had the list of items I purchased and followed up with an email with her suggestions. A few days later she followed by phone so I went back in and purchased a coffee table, which I absolutely LOVE (delivered about a week ago). I still need end tables but she is going to stop out when the sectional arrives to figure out what will work best. She also suggested a shelving unit which I had not even considered but will absolutely purchase when I buy my end tables. Also making Ethan Allen worthy of five stars is the customer service department, I have spoken with Ann a few times and she has been outstanding. When she scheduled delivery of the chairs and ottoman she saw the coffee table was due in and made sure it got on the same truck so I wouldn't need to take yet another day off for the delivery. The photo is of the chairs and tables just against the wall, this is not the final placement.”

“I have purchased many pieces from Walter E. Smithe and they stand out in the industry. While many other companies are focused on the mass volume of customers, Walter E. Smithe entertains the individual desire of each client and you feel that the moment you walk in the door. The customization of my pieces with the many fabric options was so important to me, and I could not be happier with the end result. The professionalism, follow up, and pricing could not be beat. PS - several years after my purchase, I had wondered if companies really stand by their warranty. My heavily used couch was starting to show some sagging. A simple phone call, and my couch was back to almost new. I could not be more impressed.”

“I searched all over for the perf!ect table for my new office but nothing was the right size or fit. I contacted TruCraft, showed them a picture of my office decor, gave them the measurement of the wall space and described what I was looking for. I promptly received a proposal/sketch and decided to move forward. TruCraft was not only easy to work with but helped me realized exactly what I was looking for even though I had a hard time describing it. When I received the table I was more than pleased it was exceeded my expectations. I am in talks with TruCraft already for a second job. We are currently working on a matching armoire to my bed frame. I would recommend this company to anyone”
