“Major renovations at our second home in Brandon, VT. Required complete redesign and reconstruction of the space on the first floor with partial redesign of the second floor with new bathroom added. It was a pleasure to work with Cliff and his crew of Three Oaks Construction and the several sub-contractors that he brought in for various specialized tasks that were part of this major renovation project. Every individual, whether directly on Cliff’s team or part of a sub-contractor’s team, was someone who took pride in their workmanship in every detail that was part of this project and it was obvious to us as we progressed. Even though the renovation was designed with blue-prints supplied by the designer, we got numerous suggestions for alternate approaches from Cliff and his team as the project progressed. Several of these ideas made the alteration have better utility or looks or both. Being in a situation where we had time since we did not have a hard deadline when we were planning on moving into the space, we were able to consider and assess several of the alternatives and act upon the ones we saw most suitable for us. Overall, it was a great experience working with a crew of people who were always pleasant to work with and ready to listen to suggestions and/or questions that arose as the renovations progressed. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Cliff and his entire crew for any construction or carpentry work.”

“Drew designed a magnificent kitchen for us last summer. He was very flexible with our requests, changing paths during the remodeling to change the outlook of the kitchen. The project completely renovated a 50 yr old kitchen into a modern area that we are very happy with. Drew impressed us with his demands on sub contractors; when the newly installed floor was not stained to his expectation, he demanded the contractor return, strip the stain off the floor, and redo the work. He also dealt with a painting contractor's poor work by replacing the company with a new contractor who did excellent work. We are very pleased with the outcome of the remodel; previously Drew built a new deck for an entrance to our house that was excellently done!”

“Luke and his crew built a timber frame boathouse for our family in 2015. Unlike GMTF's usual body of work, this project was new construction using hemlock and oak harvested from the site. From our rough pencil sketch drawing Luke developed the frame design, gave us a cut list for the sawyer and saw the project through to the end. Luke's communication was excellent, the work was timely and the pictures tell the rest of the story. This is some incredible joinery! Thank you GMTF!”
