“I recently contracted Emperor Homes to tear down my existing porch and rebuild it with an added shed. Due to the shape of my lot, it was not an easy project but Michael worked with me every step of the way to overcome any and all challenges. Not only am I extremely pleased with the quality of the work, but his employees were very skilled and respectful during the entire construction period. They were there when promised and continued working daily until the job was completed. I had a couple of minor concerns during the process but they were dealt with promptly; one the same day and one the following day. One of my major worries when searching for a contractor was finding one who was not only reputable and trustworthy but would complete the project in a timely manner and Emperor Homes definitely met my requirements. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!”

“When we were planning our kitchen renovations, Justin and JL Construction were recommended by our kitchen designer to oversee and manage the work. When we initially met with Justin, it was clear to us that he was the right person for the job. At the start of the project, he provided us with a detailed budget and schedule for the renovations, and worked throughout the process to stay on budget and on schedule without compromising the quality of the work. Justin retained the various sub-contractors and coordinated their work and this made the process hassle and stress free, as far as we were concerned. He always ensured that the renovation areas were kept clean, which was important since we were still living in the house during the renovations. We are now planning renovations for our garage and we have hired JL Construction once again for the work.”

“Steve and his crew at Made to Last Building Renovations did the installation of our commercial millwork in the Shaw Retail store in Victoria. The project was very complex containing wood columns, hanging wood bulkheads, oversize wood panels that needed to be scribed to drywall. Steve and his team had no difficulty with this install and executed it to a high level of quality. Communication was really good, they answer their phones when I need to get a hold of them and they are proactive on updating us on the status of the job. We are based out of Calgary AB, so it can be difficult to manage a job from out of town, Made to Last pretty well managed the entire install of the project. Billing and was fair and professionally done and there were no change order surprises. We would most certainly use Made to Last Building Renovations again in the future and are happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, honest, quality oriented contractor.”
