“Gil Construction exceeded our expectations in so many ways. They were prompt and courteous and did excellent work in adding a bathroom to existing space. Jim Elliot, the owner, suggested a better placement for the bathroom which resulted in a much better bathroom and came in on budget. Additionally, their estimate was the best we received. They were all a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond in everything they did. For additional house projects I will absolutely consult them first.”

“We interviewed several builders last year when we set out to expand our home at Lake Anna. Before we found Battlefield Homes, we had not found any that met our standards. By standards, I mean professionalism, responsiveness, communication, and timeliness – in addition to good quality workmanship. We had received some cost estimates from other builders that were either astronomical or suspiciously low. We had started to wonder if any of them could be trusted. From the very beginning, our instincts told us that we could entrust Allen Harrison and his team at Battlefield with this project which was near and dear to our hearts . That decision has proved to be the best decision we could have made. Battlefield Construction is professionalism at all levels. Ours was a complex project because it was a renovation, and the original home had several construction issues that needed to be addressed. We were made aware of the potential challenges before construction began, and as the project was carried out, we were always kept up to date. We were able to adjust the project to keep costs down, while still getting the results we wanted. Allen and the team helped us to make informed decisions so we didn’t feel like we were compromising on quality or functionality. We have now been enjoying our newly remodeled lake house for 4 months. This renovation has far exceeded our expectations of what we initially hoped for. The quality is superior and we continue to be pleased by small construction details which are so thoughfully executed. Thank you Allen, for maintaining our trust in your team throughout the project. Jon and Mandy made the home building process simple, We loved the fact that we could contact them personally with any questions that we had along the way and they responded quickly and with concern. “I love the bath remodel Mike did for us. I'm completely spoiled (no hotel or beach cottage I've been in has such a roomy shower, not mention a heated floor.) I've been so happy with the master bath that they are currently renovating the hall bath. Mike's employees are the nicest guys ever, always enthusiastic about the project and making suggestions that will make the space more beautiful and functional. They also are easy to work with, and have never strayed outside the budget (unless I've added on little extras!) No surprises. I recommend them with no reservations!”

“Josh and Matt and all the guys at Tri Arc were really a pleasure to work with on our project. Josh was patient while we worked through our concept and came up with some great ideas along the way. Matt and his crew came on the days they agreed to be here and did really high quality work. Our project was for built in cabinets in our finished basement. Any time you have a contractor do work in your home, there will likely be some issues. When these issues arise, is when you find out about your contractor. How about a cabinet literally not fitting through a doorway to get to the space it was to be installed? How about Tri Arc removing an interior door and the door trim and having to cut a hole in the drywall to turn the cabinet around the corner to get it to it's new home? They did all of that and then replaced the hollow-core door with a new, solid one, reinstalled all of the door trim, repaired the dry wall, and painted everything. It's actually looked better than before! We're looking forward to having Tri Arc work on our next project.”
