“We took on Briburn for a substantial new residential project on the basis of their website and their stated philosophy, and a 2 hour interview/discussion. As our first and only choice, they clearly stood out among a dozen other architects in the area. We are in the midst of planning now and the process is almost painless. Their guidance is gentle and considerate; their knowledge of "green" building practices is vast. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next steps in this adventure with Briburn.”

“It is my pleasure to write a review for Robert Lenahan. We hired Robert to help us with the renovation of our kitchen. I cannot say enough about Roberts thoroughness, his knowledge and understanding of what we were hoping to accomplish, his strong work ethic and above all, his ability to listen to his clients and make them feel comfortable and secure in decisions that were being made. “I have worked with TMS for 14 years during which time they have designed and assisted us in building 2 homes and the remodeling of 4 shopping centers. The first home is an Ocean front gambrel roofed shingle style large property which while traditional in many exterior respects has a contemporary interior ideally suited to our interests. The siting and interior design of the house take full advantage of the site's spectacular ocean views. TMS has been a joy to work with. They matched our needs and interests with their impeccable taste and outstanding creativity. The House is a joy to live in. Our second home in Jackson Hole Wyoming was a different set of challenges as their task was to renovate and expand a bland 1920's simple structure that lacked the elegance and rustic charm that we were seeking. The result has far exceeded our expectations. They created an arts and crafts interior and a dramatic exterior that is both very different that other houses in the valley but looks just right in its environment. We have been so satisfied with their work for us that we are now working on a contemporary weekend retreat in New Hampshire's White Mountains”

“Graham Architects designed our beautiful and unique home. Mr. Graham was always professional, friendly, reasonable, and worked with the builders to help reduce building costs. He was flexible, patient and helpful with our changes. He has a nice even temperament and is quick to smile. Most helpful during the stress of building your home! While compatibility is very important, also is the architect's eye. Mr. Graham designed a beautiful and interesting roof line which respected our goal of honoring the Shaker style of clean simple lines. We are amazed how he could see this and put it to paper. Mr. Graham visited the building site regularly and if we were concerned about something, he visited promptly and met with the building contractors. He has designed many beautiful buildings and existing home improvements in our area.”

“Review for Chris Delano - Art of Space Chris did a wonderful job designing our new lake house so that views of the lake can be seen from our main living areas including the master bedroom. We were pleased with his creative ideas which included the use of upper windows that allow extra light to filter in throughout the day. He not only was the architect but was involved in the management of the project. Chris was excellent to work with and he and the general contractor worked very well together. Chris is a gifted architect and a man of integrity.”

“After meeting Gavin for the first time, I know our kitchen would be in good hands! We wanted to renovate our entire kitchen area, entranceway and at the same time, make it modern and practical for a family of 6. He gave us several different drawings and ideas and we collaborated on the final design. Through the entire process, his "designer" brain is always on! He is constantly trying to find the best fit for our needs and situation. He has a broad knowledge of not only architecture, but the entire design, permit, build, construction process. This is also why we loved working with him because he has a great sense of the cost required to complete our design and stay within our budget. Throughout the entire process, he was available by phone and email to coordinate, plan or fix small details. He worked seamlessly with the city to get our plans approved and permitted. It felt to us that our project was his only project and he knew every single detail probably better than us. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will for years to come! We will use him again for our stairway and upstairs renovation. I highly recommend Gavin for his amazing ideas, architectural skills, and positive attitude.”
