The great room was designed with the intention of a more formal living area, with comfortable and livable furniture. The use of high traffic fabrics and structured frames allowed us to bring together somewhat of a British Island feel with a Ralph Lauren casualness to it. PC: Spacecrafting Photography

Lots of seating here in this sun drenched family room. Stationary drape panels frame the floor to ceiling windows. A traditional coffered ceiling and custom building cabinetry frame the room. Modern chrome legs support the loveseats which are covered in a textured solid grey from Donghia. The coffee table is a custom designed polished steel base with an Arabesato Marble top. The persimmon and grey rug anchor the seating area and contrast beautifully with the blue chairs....Photo by Jared Kuzia

This Marin County project was constructed on a fast-track schedule. Design decisions and construction had to occur jointly in order to maintain aggressive critical-path deadlines. In order to ensure milestones were met, subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections were closely managed with clear communications between architect, designer, owner, and contractor.
