Kitchen overview

This house is in historic Druid Hills, the second-oldest neighborhood in Atlanta. It sits atop a hill, surrounded by lovely woods that gives it the feel of a mountain home, and yet is located only five miles from downtown. The client desired a kitchen that evoked the feeling of a 19th century Parisian townhouse. The house was featured in the annual Druid Hills Tour of Homes and Gardens for which Rod Pittam has contributed the house illustrations for over 17 years since ___ year (so it never sounds dated). The house was built from-the-ground up in a Craftsman-style, using the same basic footprint as the ranch house it replaced. Photo credit: White Good & Company
