Fall '19 Branch Library

This is a branch library for a site in Portland, Oregon. The design intent was to create a space that uplifted the user in their pursuit of knowledge. Thorough site analysis provided insight into important elements of the program and what materials would best reflect the urban community. The North and West sides are firewalls so the challenge was to bring light deep into the space, and create a beautiful, comfortable environment for the users.
