Dining Room - Venetian Plaster walls in a funky Old-World application. Painted wood wainscot & moldings. I live in a quaint little old Spanish-style home in San Juan Capistrano, CA. This is my own dining room. I wanted to create a Spanish farmhouse feel in this house, this is what the house wants to be. You can see the old washed finishes on the woodwork, the cool rugged plaster treatments on the walls & ceilings. And next door in the kitchen is a vibrant old Spanish-style rubbed wood treatment in turquoise. My friends and family love to gather in my dining room. There are many stories that bounce off the walls in my home; particularly in this space. The finishes are timeless; elegant and lovely. I fall in love with them more each day.
