Decorate a beach house or childs room with a couple of these bungalow beds from Coastal Living Cottage. This collection captures the easy lifestyle of the coast with its balmy breezes, the whisper of the waves and a kiss of sun. The bungalow bed provides comfort and style with color choices reminiscent of a 1940s bungalow. Wood construction with arched headboard and footboard, plus each of the four posts is punctuated with a carved finial. The plank pattern is outlined by molding as smooth as waves lapping at the shoreline.

This country house was previously owned by Halle Berry and sits on a private lake north of Montreal. The kitchen was dated and a part of a large two storey extension which included a master bedroom and ensuite, two guest bedrooms, office, and gym. The goal for the kitchen was to create a dramatic and urban space in a rural setting.

China Furniture and Arts
As the intricate pattern of Chinese window panel has long been an artistic form in Chinese decorative art, there is no better way to preserve a piece of recovered antique window panel than to frame it on the back of this day bed. Hand-carved of elegant solid Elmwood with traditional joinery techniques for long lasting durability, while a maze like design delights the mind, the Ming furniture design brings the aesthetic pleasure to the eye. Coating a sleek ebony finish, this daybed creates a bold contrast within any contemporary interior design.

A robin’s egg blue ceiling sits above ivory walls and trims in this master bedroom featuring woven grass blinds, gray and ivory embroidered draperies and a window seat.
The dark walnut stained hardwoods dovetail with a dark brown stained hardwood mantel (at left), surrounded by neutral glass tiles on the hearth. Custom wood, an ivory duvet cover and antiqued, mirrored cabinetry is set off by bronze hardware while a Jacobean style antique English trunk provides storage and style.
The built-ins were added to enclose a television and add prized storage space in this 1920s home; the mirrors visually extend the space and allow the bed to remain the focal point of the room. The calming, neutral palette is ideal for a master bedroom retreat.
The Morson Collection
Located in one of the Ritz residential towers in Boston, the project was a complete renovation. The design and scope of work included the entire residence from marble flooring throughout, to movement of walls, new kitchen, bathrooms, all furnishings, lighting, closets, artwork and accessories. Smart home sound and wifi integration throughout including concealed electronic window treatments.
The challenge for the final project design was multifaceted. First and foremost to maintain a light, sheer appearance in the main open areas, while having a considerable amount of seating for living, dining and entertaining purposes. All the while giving an inviting peaceful feel,
and never interfering with the view which was of course the piece de resistance throughout.
Bringing a unique, individual feeling to each of the private rooms to surprise and stimulate the eye while navigating through the residence was also a priority and great pleasure to work on, while incorporating small details within each room to bind the flow from area to area which would not be necessarily obvious to the eye, but palpable in our minds in a very suttle manner. The combination of luxurious textures throughout brought a third dimension into the environments, and one of the many aspects that made the project so exceptionally unique, and a true pleasure to have created. This new lake home takes advantage of the stunning landscape of Lake Superior. The compact floor plans minimize the site impact. The expressive building form blends the structure into the language of the cliff. The home provides a serene perch to view not only the big lake, but also to look back into the North Shore. With triple pane windows and careful details, this house surpasses the airtightness criteria set by the international Passive House Association, to keep life cozy on the North Shore all year round.
