Stone work on walls and wood combination

Really like the stone work--both on the ground and on the shelter at the right.

If we did a path on the hill, this would be one interesting option for the stone

Like the concept only, not the specific design. The idea of a shelter/overhang extending over the entire hardscaped area from the back wall of the house to the pool would be nice if we put collapsing glass doors across much of the back of the house.

high block wall on two sides is nice idea to preserve privacy in the corner social area, even at the top of a 2-3 level area.

Much better retaining wall concept than what we have now

A larger fireplace like this integrated into the support/structure of the cover of (at least part of) the social area could be a nice feature
