tub - how do you pick a tub without laying in it to see if it's comfortable?

changed flooring under bath to match shower; tub - that is interesting. Since our shower and tub will be at opposite ends of the bathroom, I'm not sure it would be as immediately visible why the flooring under the tub is different..
