Hi Nishi, Beautiful furniture and a very cute cosy nest you have. To begin with replace your existing coffee table with a hard wood simple coffee table. Replace your cushions with an assortment of pink, turquoise and golden yellow in different sizes and shapes, this will add some brightness to the room.Replace the pictures on the wall with a big mirror as per the wall size and add a nice frame to it. On the shelf on the picture wall place the candle stands currently on the centre table. The stools can be replaced with a nice upholstered ottoman bench in a printed fabric as sofa is plain. Cover the entry door with curtains as well so that it gives an illusion of a single wall behind. Since the wall behind the bench is already textured do not put anything on the wall. Remove the white bench there, instead put two big white teracotta pots there of different height and put bamboos on it. Finally put a blue/brown shaggy rug below the coffee table to complete the look. Hope you find the suggestions useful. Personally, I would also steer clear of pink. The latest Disney Princesses have been all about the blue, green etc etc. (and I rather like the yellow!) One of the most cost effective solutions is to make a virtue of the existing colour scheme by getting some woodland decals and a couple of small fairies (think: Sleeping Beauty in the woods) for the walls and wardrobe - easy to place and reposition, and easy to remove if you want to change the theme at a later date. See if you can find a big decal that looks like a picture frame, too, and put that on the mirror in the wash area (think: magic mirror!) Some sort of drapery, above the bed is always good. If you're concerned about installing a full corona on the ceiling, you can mount a curtain rail above the bed (don't forget to buy one with crystal sparkly finials!) and hang a set of long voile curtains for a similar effect! I would then advocate sparkly crystal curtain tie backs - they're cheap, cheerful and can be swapped out when the colour begins to bore. Finally, swap out all the drawer pulls and knobs with something glam and crystal-ly in style. Assuming your daughter is quite young, I would say err on the side of shiny bling, and she'll love them! All of these options are pretty simple to do, not too expensive and easy to reverse or change as she grows up!

The headboard is definitely bright and lovely. but the window arch also gives nice rustic look to the room and makes it different

Hi Anisha, Here are a few suggestions that may help you - 1] If you can try shifting the main entry door to the left and the bathroom door also towards the left end of the bathroom. This way you will get a walk in closet which will not take away from the bedroom space. Dark Blue - Loose chairs and coffee table Dark Green - Study Mauve - TV Console Yellow - Rocking chair and floor lamp Red - Wardrobes Orange - Dressing Table Light Green - Safes Lavender - Bathroom layout You can increase the dressing space if you can compromise on the bedroom area. 2] If you cannot shift much, just bring the bathroom door to the centre of the bathroom wall right in front on the main entry door. This way you will get a niche on the right hand side of the main entry. It is advice able to provide a dressing unit here, with proximity to the bathroom since you will use it the minute you step out of the shower.
