This is my hallway ..where we walk from living room to informal hall to kitchen....for more privacy n for using informal hall as hometheater at times I need to put doors....In hallway...such that they don't spoil my look and don't hinder day to day life...is my thought good? is this possible....or am I overdoing things. ..

Hey! Normally the door and the trim can differ in colour if there is another element pulling the trim colour on it. for instance if you have baseboards (which India doesn't) or wainscoting. Then you can use the colour of the trim on those elements. Since yours is a single unit, go for a cohesive whole with the trim and the door. In case you like paint, go for PU, it'll give you an excellent finish and will last long. I personally love the while on your doors. so maybe go with a warm white core laminate? alternatively you could also select a colour from something in your living cum dining space! You are in tight spot in terms of dimensions of the Guest bedroom, there is not much flexibility except for the pantry outside room which can have an additional wash basin as suggested by Nitin from corner stone above. Although, since its guest bedroom, TV viewing might not be priority unless you are looking to use it as your entertainment room for family. If you are planning to use it as entertainment room, then, instead of full fledged wardrobe you can have long wardrobe wall unit upto 2'-9" height for storage & TV/entertainment arrangement & play around the space above. In this case, you need to shift electrical & cable points to wall marked for wardrobe.
