You have all the reasons to redo the house, its very lifeless and looks worn out. I feel creating a separation will terminate the spaciousness of the room. Adding colours will surely help, Since you have a tan color sofa,I suggest grey, white or light blue color on one of the walls. Add some art works of the color you chose for the wall. This room needs some fillers like , books, throws, candle stands tall and lean. YES DON FORGET 1. Mount the tv on the wall make some space on the floor and Fix a large size mirror ( Wooden Frame if you can afford).

yeah i will change the lamps and the bedding once the curtains r ready....i have a window behind the bed so i will havee to have curtains....becoz i dint find any good navy ones ( i looked in a dozen stores :/ ) so iv thot that ill do some layers in the curtains...may b a plain navy blue ( behind )with the black n white in pic 1 or 3 (infront ) ? lamp shdes navy...n bedding will hav diff colour pillow sets( white blck blue n coral ) ?? will it be too matchy matchy ??

Hello Pete, It is indeed tricky to select the laminate from small sample patches. We feel it is often misleading as the small section is just a 2 inch piece cut out from a 8ft x 4ft sheet. Depending on your location you can do either. Check on Merino website .They would show images of the full sheet and if you are lucky even real life application of the same. Hi Anu, You did a nice job with designing balcony. If you like plants, then you can grow herbs, flowers, vegetables, it will give your balcony a cozy look and cool feel in this hot summer. You can have bookshelf if you are a reader. From the images it can be seen that balcony length is more, so you can develop a corner for your hobbies or whatever that is you like to do in free time.
