Sorry, but would you really take advice from someone that hasn't seen even off color photos of all the materials you've selected or knows the floor plan of your kitchen. If you post photos of the color and door style of the cabinets and cabinet moldings, a photo or the the name of the coutertop (there are many types and styles of black countertops), the finish and style of the appliances, the flooring you have selected, and the floor plan of your kitchen, maybe you could get sensible advice along of course with a lot of less valuable input. Asking blind strangers to direct you isn't sensible.

You can use natural stone like marble for floor but do not use granite for floor at all as it is very slippery when wet. As for tiles do not go for glazed vitrified tiles for the floor for the same reason. ( floor becomes slippery once wet and may cause mishap) Go for ceramic anti skid tiles that are specially meant for bathroom floor. For wall tiles you can use whatever you like and then decide over the matching anti skid floor tile/ marble. Double charged vitrified tiles are usually used for flooring in rest of the house.

The hall way is around 210 sq feet ,will black or dark colour make it look smaller?! Would you have sample pics (just in case )

Hello there, You could scoop them out with a flat trowel and scrap cement backing with that as well. But it won't be much of a success and you will lose around 30-40 %. You could DIY broken tiles mosaics as an art ; frame and fix it on the wall itself with an appropriate glue. Or search for other DIYs on youtube. You could replace them with decals as described @cornerstone studio , but there's a catch ; high heat areas could deform and de-glue the decals as well.
