Very interesting space and the exterior looks fabulous. My only critic is that I don't really love the kitchen layout. I feel like the peninsula cuts off the flow, but I understand the reason for wanting to have the cooking area on the peninsula facing the dining area. I feel if you were to get rid of the peninsula and add cabinetry on the blank long wall with the cooking area, you would be able to get more counter space for prep and additional storage. Perhaps you would also be able to incorporate a table island. You may need to relocated the sink onto the back wall to comfortably add an island/table. I'd play around with it a bit.

One option, I would get a very large rug so that all the chair legs and at least one corner of the sofa is on the rug. I think I would also bring the table set away from the window a little more. I think there is enough space to place the two-seater opposite the table in front of the window. or bring the table forward toward the kitchen ....... With the sofa centered to the large window. They probably will not be opposite each other, but at an angle which is still ok. They might seem more functional for the table set to be closer to the kitchen. Another option is two rugs in wide runners. Creating a walkway through the center of the room. Still thinking the sofa center of the right window. Just some ideas :-)

Hi all, My existing kitchen needs a major revamp and I am currently in the process of talking to kitchen vendors to redo the whole thing and also add a kitchen island for regular dining. I am a bit confused about what finishes to go for to achieve a classy yet fun kitchen. I love the Spanish/ Moroccan tiles that are in style these days and would love to use them on the back splash and floor. Also, mostly got to go with black granite counter tops to survive Indian cooking. For top cabinets, If i got with white matte/hi-gloss(you can suggest which easy to maintain and look good) and wood veneer on bottom cabinets, would it be too busy and clash ? Painting the wall above the cabinets in blue matching the dining set, placing a nice rug below the dining table and adding blinds to kitchen windows with some plants will make the place chirpy and bright.
