How to dress up windows above my stairs
Comments (4)Hi. I think you should put four blinds up, hung inside the windows, with curtains in the middle and on each side -- when the blinds are up you'll get a full view of your pretty windows. It's a pity to hide them. I'd keep the blinds quite simple so that you can use any fabric you like for the curtains....See MoreWant to Hide my Window above Bed/make it soundproof
Comments (6)Hi Deepak, Neighboring noises can be annoying, especially night. I would advise the same, go for u-PVC windows, that will help in maximum noise reduction. As I can see in image, a full-length curtain indicating probable full window or door. You should go for u-PVC window/door for that too. The noise will be reduced to a minimum. -Thanks, -Neelam -Lines and Profile...See MoreLast piece of cabinet would not fit, opening 3/8 inch too narrow...
Comments (4)Rui, On the contrary, If you look from the left it should align with the base cabinet because they are in same size. Most likely, it will go off by 3/8 of an inch after the dish washer (as it has been wiggled in). It is too small a difference to be noticed by average person because they are at different heights. We are suggesting to change either the cabinet above sink or the single box above right of dishwasher. It will be easier and the filler will be least noticeable above the sink as the shutters are already of a different size. Good news, is that you may have the cabinet boxes already. You can check by placing them starting from the left most wall whether the above suggestion works for you. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore....See Moreceiling light and hanging light
Comments (13)Suraj, If you have access to the room that you shared earlier you can try seeing the flicker effect at night time with both lights and fan being on. If the lamp has a 360 degree light spread it will cast the fans shadow on the ceiling and when the fan is turned on it causes a flikr effect. I personally find it a distraction and at the same time many would not even notice it. Take the pick based on your usage. Wall mounted fans and recessed fans can also be explored.
