I'm not against colorful homes. There's bright, and then there's too bright. I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house. The photo you provided has lots of white trim which offsets the orange, but your house doesn't have that much trim (unless you were planning on adding some, which I think would look good no matter what color you ultimately choose, but even so, I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house, as it's still too bright). To repeat what @nwduck said, the other homes in the neighborhood don't appear to all be done in the bright colors, and so yours would stand out too too much. I like @deco's idea of the bright door, if you really love a bright color. For the rest of the house, any more subdued color would be fine, along with additional trim around the windows, and assuming that your siding color coordinates with your roofing color.

Madam, I don’t have a drawing. However, I can draw and send it across. Sorry for advising, however my suggestion would be: 1) Check the tube level of the wall for plaster. 2) Ensure that the plaster is even 3) You can ask Asian paints home solution for a coat of paint. Don’t look beyond a cement colour. 4) Leading upto the wall have it decked with wood; meaning deck wood flooring. This will accentuate the floor. 5) Buy a Buddha resting on a pedestal. The Buddha must be sculpted in stone. Take care that the face is natural. 6) Get a Carpenter to make a frame work on all four sides with teak and give it a natural finish. 7) Bodhi tree must be silver/ gold finish and must cover atleast 40% of the wall. 8) Have two focus lamps from the top and one warm lighting from the floor level. 9) Just one pot with either artificial or natural bamboo with a few green leaves. Lo and behold you will have the most beautiful entry into both your bedrooms. Useful for meditation as well. 1) Bodhi tree- Mantra Arts, Chennai. give me some time I have an idea to do for these pillars after application of the film... I will surely post it.... What I plan to do is have three long glass vases with translucent pebbles in it which will look good even when the light is off ... Also the vases will contain nice decorative small leaves metallic flowers ...i am not able to find these tall vases at least 35 cm tall (total height of one box is 74 cm) searching for them... any inputs ?

Many thanks for your valuable comments. 1. My intention of raised cabinets was to clean it daily, as cabinets that touch floor accumulate lot of dust and food particles below. If we rule out steel legs, any inputs on raised floor only of cabinet area and then cabinets?(Just like plinth in modular cabinets- but this will be permanent and of tiles) I have not seen such structure anywhere, so curious if it will work. Otherwise I will go with traditional ones. 2. Moving pooja out of kitchen is very difficult as other rooms are just enough for their function. Currently a small Mandir is attached on wall where Fridge is shown in layout. I thought the new area could be little extra for all pooja related things. Will like to know the reason of your recommendation, is it odd in whole design, or not suitable in area .. or anything else? How about moving it to corner of dining area?
