i saw a pvc small mat (around 60cm by 100cm). it wasn't a tile for sticking on the floor but a piece of pvc you can move from place to place with a geometric pattern on it

Hello there, You should try searching nearby localities for a good dealer. Usually a good dealer would guide you through indigenous and imported granite and should be able to tell the pros and cons of each granite based on color and chemical characteristics. Do try Banarghatta road for mid-sized to large dealers e.g. 1. Granite Art 2. Stone League Int. 3. Prem Marbles etc.. Don't visit these ones only. Hello Ash, Jaipur Blue Pottery tiles are definitely suited for kitchen backsplashes and are heat resistant since they are fired in a kiln like other ceramics. I bought mine from a vendor in Jaipur, and got them shipped to Bangalore. Just make sure to be very very clear on what you want - hand-painted or screen-printed tiles; there is a big difference between the two. Happy to discuss further. Thanks, Gargi
