Hello Pete, It is indeed tricky to select the laminate from small sample patches. We feel it is often misleading as the small section is just a 2 inch piece cut out from a 8ft x 4ft sheet. Depending on your location you can do either. Check on Merino website .They would show images of the full sheet and if you are lucky even real life application of the same. I have no personal experience with these types of laminates. Got this information from brand website and share this based on brand reputation. Although I read this information one more time to be more clear about this and also I want to mention one more thing that they nowhere claims to kill corona virus. It claims that it kills more than 99% viruses which can be of any type. But there are a few misconceptions among us due to certain preconceived notions. For instance, when we hear the word "virus", our mind straightaway goes to corona virus. You might be right about your brand marketing thought, but if anyone have any experience these types of laminates, then we'll get real results about these types of claims.

I would suggest to put the colours you are looking for in a screen (like white + dark brown which is on your cupboard + grey if you want on the accent wall). Basically asking to create a colour palette to understand how it will look into the room. If in your budget you can change the laminate of your cupboard into a lighter shade. Like just normal finish laminate without any design. Maybe change the handles. This little change can make your room more bright and lifted.
