Comments (14)cool --but you can see the entire floor has been raised--do you have the ceiling height? a closet 'step up' would be less of a structural commitment, OR a buildup under builtin furniture--like bookcases flanking a fireplace, also some great ideas on HOUZZ i'd never have thought of. sorry i'm not tech-ie enough to paste the site:) of course if you go 'structural' --all walls and ceilings are fair game as well. remember that ease of access [or lack thereof] can affect stealth mode greatly--as in your pic: every time you step onto the 'box' in your pic you would hear a 'different' sound....See MoreNeed advice on flooring for my house
Comments (3)Hi Mohit, As you rightly said that in Indian climate best is stone (Marbles, granite, sandstone etc.. ) or tiles. Before suggesting you something I would like o know your location in India and would analyse your lifestyle. While Marble seems to be an obvious choice for many its not the best material always. It is also expensive and needs high maintenance and not a sustainable material. All materials have their pros and cons. Its true wood does not essentially work in most of the climates in India however I must make you aware that there are very nice wood looking tiles available. You get the best of both worlds- cozy look and robust wear and tear. If you wish to explore further with us we provide interior design advice at nominal fees. Comments (2)you can either go for darker grey tiles or a beige. It all depends on how grey your wall tiles are and if they have any underlying colours - are they are purple or green grey etc etc. How does the ventilator affect the look. Do you have a photo?...See MoreLyn Nielson
