Need to find the right shade of orange!
Comments (6)I just tried a SW stain ( they can match it in paint) called Cape Cod Red that had a definite orange undertone and a burnt orange appearance when painted on our door. I thought it might be my eyes because the color didn't really resemble the chip or this photo. Then I spilled most of a gallon in the back seat of my truck and my husband and I agreed: Nope, it's orange. It might be worth a try. It was a pretty color without falling into halloween territory. Here's an ideabook showing some orange paints. https://www.houzz.com/magazine/dreaming-in-color-6-sensational-orange-bedrooms-stsetivw-vs~7014483...See MoreHELP Any designer Done kitchen with these shades of merino laminates ?
Comments (43)Hi Cornerstone, I read your feedback 1. Profile handles I was late as the doors were already ready and it was too much of re-work. Regarding putting handles 2. Sharp edge can cause problem thats why the handles I have put are rounded on the edge not to hurt. 3. Where I did make a mistake was Did not put fillers. If I had put fillers on the sides the door issues could be resolved The upper cabinet handles. This is actually not my fault I had told them to put the handles in the center but they thought these are not drawers but rather cabinets so they should be put in the location where we put the vertical handles. By the time I came to check it was too late and now I am stuck. I am thinking of putting maybe 8inch handles instead of current 5inch but not sure if that would help to improve the look. Old kitchen pictures attached they also had handles but smaller...See MoreWhat color should i paint my bedroom walls

Comments (10)Yep, I agree it's nowhere near Scandinavian. Although I tried hard to emulate it with the resources I had and conflicts with other family members, but oh well. But I'm trying to emulate the Scandinavian theme at least in the paint job. Do you think if I somehow achieved it at least in paint job it won't look good? I really like the color scheme of Scandinavian design. Edit: I really like the minimalism and coziness scandinavian design provies. Although, I do have to mention that I didn't mean to say that the photos that I've posted are necessarily scandinavian. I was just talking about the colors especially the white color....See More- 4 years ago
