Comments (0)This is in context to my Living Room for apt. which is technically one single large hall , But within this same space , we are looking to create three seperate spaces , i;e Main Living room , Dining Room & family living room. Is it advisable for me to go for elevated areas ,for each of the spaces. Comments (7)Priyanka, Wallpaper on doors is not a good idea. You can go for laminate panelling on the wall and matching laminates on the doors. You can choose a veneer as well. The space is too wide for a single door though. You will have to plan accordingly. I am assuming you are talking about the brown door and not the other black door in picture. PRO4 years agoHi. If you do not want to go with a wardrobe there then you can create a wall shelf in the cavity; something like below.
Or, you can fill the cavity with vertical wooden rafters, put some focus lights on the ceiling and place a high wing chair and ottoman in front. It will be a good space next to the window to sit, relax and read. You can also put a circular rug beneath the chair and ottoman; it will look good.
