Hello, It depends on the thickness of the veneer used earlier. If you are lucky and a thick veneer was used then it can be repolished. You need to get it inspected. mostly Indians uses brown varnish paints for their main wooden doors....I even don't know why they didn't use other colors...even in my house doors are given brown color wooden texture...

I have one more query On the left the loft is covered full front it is half So i will get them uniform But want to understand what suits good: Cutting down left loft to match front Increase the front door to cover ceiling And another question: there is a space on right (just after beam) for the chimney pipe outlet, should I run the loft until half or until door ?
