Propane and Heat Pump Costs for New Construction

Hello! We are building in a residential community near Pittsburgh, PA and will be the only home on the street without natural gas. The utility company says the line is too small, but will be updated within 10 years. With converting in mind, we are opting for a heat pump with backup propane heat. The propane will also be used for our stove and fireplace.
My question is, does anyone have this setup in a climate like ours...with a highly efficient, 2 story, 3000sq ft new construction...that can provide insight into how many gallons of propane you use in an average year?
I already have serious concerns of resale value of the propane furnace vs a natural gas in our area. It keeps me up in night. I want to live here long term, but its a big, expensive house and life is unpredictable. Simply just planning worst case.
However, my only other option is electric, which will cost me more.
Any insight may help me sleep. Thanks!
