Need help with Kitchen Countertop- Cabinets-Hardwood floor Combo
Comments (13)Your choices don't flow well to me. The flooring in your photo is pretty (very dark...are you okay with it showing every footprint, smudge, and dust bunny? If so, that's fine). From all of your options there I would do white cabinets with the Himalaya White granite. But you said ignore the granite. :) I would go for the gray cabinets with white quartz everywhere in that case, but personally I'd worry about gray cabinets being very dated in a few years. Is there another quartz option that you could pair with the white cabinets that is light in color and maybe has some movement, like LG Bianco Drift?...See MoreGranite colour for counter top
Comments (45)Hi, Go for Jet black granite for counter top. It would look classy with your white ceramic wash basin and beige wall tiles. And go for above counter wash basin....See MoreHi All, We had counter top sink installed in the kitchen. It doesn't
Comments (2)Try to keep a band ( designed metal or board ) around the sink on three sides , which can makes the water spill less on that three sides ....or try to keep a rectangular hole on corners around sink for slab which doenst look like hole and get a decorative cover for that, and connect that to the outlet at down...so that its easy to push water around the sink so that it drains... Or get an extra slab just to place around sink where water spills and place it on top of existing slab if you don't want to remove the existing sink and place......See MoreBest countertop for kitchen
Comments (3)It all depends on the budget you are looking at. As an architect i would give preference to granite over quartz any day. If your budget is INR 150-300 per sqft then go for south indian granites and if your budget is INR 500-1200 per sqft then go for Imported granite (Suggestions : Bianco Antico (in white), Blue Pearl (in dark blue-dark grey tone), Baltic brown : light+dark brown combination). As far as Kalinga quartz or any other brand quartz is concerned i find it not at all value for money, you'd end up spending INR 500+ sqft on something which is still in its experiment stage in India. The company is spending money on marketing and PR thats why new architects would promptly suggest quartz. I have heard enough complaints from home owners about quartz discoloration and bending. Fun fact : there is no warranty on any defects arising in quartz due to usage, which explains even the manufacturer of quartz dont want to take the responsibility of there own product. Reach me out if you need color advice for countertops. Thanks :)...See MoreMorningstar Stone & Tile
