Hi Maam/Sir, I would recommend you to share a better perspective pic of your room where the ceiling is also visible because if a room does not have enough of natural lighting then some artificial effect like a false ceiling treatment would really give a great boost to the look and feel of your space. I would also suggest you to follow a concept like i can see there are a lot of varied colorscheme happening in your room so changing a curtain will not be much help. You should find the right patterns maybe like adding some pastels or i can see that some red or maroon color is involved in your room so try to match the lighter version of these elements. I have a few suggestions. Hope these will help. Go for a wooden sofa set. I know many people nowadays tend to go for fabric sofa sets and sectionals, but i fee that wooden sofas never go out of style. Also, you can change the upholstery colour any time if you want a more colourful look or a colourful slip cover (you can get a local uphostery guy to custom stitch one) which can be washed easily. Go for sleek furnitures that are not heavy. You can also add a few accent furniture pieces like an accent chair if the space allows for it. There are couple of things to note when you bring in colour. Choose one primary colour and maximum two secondary colours. After you choose your colours, pick your decor. Add dashes of these colours through cushions, vases, flowers, paintings, figurines, curtains, carpets and other decor pieces. Hi there, seems like small room n hot place..so better give pearl white paint or white whichever u prefer..it will make the room more spacious. Keep furniture to the minimum.. Keep L shape sofa on the right side of door n just opposite to tat u can keep ur TV but pl dont buy heavy cabinets.. just hang ur tv on wall n just below tat u can make long cabinets wid drawers wid modern look.. without handles. On the green wall side put frames in cluster or just two three.. keep one table wid modern luk..nt heavy one..sofa colour it depends on the walk colour..if white then grey or brown wid white cusions or multicolur cushions..match ur sofa colour wid frame colour.. or u can do everything thing in white.. tv furniture, frames sofa.. put mukticolour cushions on white sofa or plain grey, light blue, light yellow whichever u like.. keep everything simple n modern..Gyal frm Sikkim

Neeti, Damask wallpapers are very tricky to work with. Although they look good from a distance but they take away all the look just because of sheer size of them.
