Dear here i am attaching some pictures which you can see and have an idea that gracefully you have quite large space and you can make a great drawing or sitting room by just putting colors,paintings,and other things on it.First make your room white because white has a best quality that every color will match and looking so cool on them.Put colorful sofa covers and curtains in your room.With colorful racks as shown in a picture,you can also add greenry according to given picture a wall hanging which you can put on one side of your back side wall and if you want some space to put your things in it so you can use cabinet which i given to you in my first attacment of pics.both wodden work on back side and both color full wall hangings for decoration keep it on your both side walls it gives you matching and very balanced interior also you can put wooden floor to make it more appropriate.or else you can use my two last pictures as keep your interior more balanced. I had purchased hafele hob 10 months back... I got it serviced 6 times... Now i requested for replacement with new one... Still they have not attended my request...

What a beautiful house, Shahbaaz! I live in a similar house - a 150-year-old colonial bungalow in Kumaon. You have already received lots of excellent advice from better-qualified people, so all I would say is, keep its age and heritage character the central theme. The white tiles do clash, I am afraid ... flooring with terracotta tiles would echo the roof and look lovely. The columns and the arches over the doors and windows are amazing. But I'd say, leave it all chuna-painted - there's a beauty and softness to it. Don't let the painters add too much neel (indigo) in the limewash -- in the hills where I live, they put far too much if I don't watch out and the result is a harsh white. Natural lime has a softer, creamy look.

I feel partitions are not needed. You already have too much for the space. Adding a partition will shrink the space further. The simplistic solution, you do not wish to discard any furniture would be to paint all the walls in lighter pastles. And use some wall painting frames to highlight certain walls.
