Need unique dressing table designs

Hello,
I'm looking for unique dressing table designs. I want that to be on the side of my bed that serves both as a dressing table and also the side table for the bed. Attaching the pic which we have actually planned but I feel the design is old school so please suggest me some good ideas.

first picture you can use for storage box and second picture for mirror design the combination will look fabulous here.
if you like the idea send me space measurement I'll set the dimensions and send it for you.

thanks for you idea \ but i will clarify a few more points 1.the area for bedroom and sitting room is on 1st floor 2. it is actualyy like a big hall unpartitioned at the moment 3. the sitting /living room is not like a common room ,it is only for this bedroom 4. i dont want to change postion of the bed on any other wall,i want it to be the partioning ,in some unique way. 5. i dont want the room to be totally divided into two halves by the partition --whatever is designed . 6.the siiting room is proposed to have a book shelf on one wall ,provision for tv panel and one single seater cane swing (hanging type). I HOPE THIS CLARIFIES THE PICTURE SOME MORE can you think for me now and help with some unique idea.

Perhaps a large round table might mean a rug is not at all necessary. It could be a metal tray table, or carved wood like Rebecca Mitchell Interiors illustrates. Ideas also to consider, using multiple tables can be found at http://www.houzz.com/multiple-coffee-tables. I also agree with comments above that some color is needed on the walls. You could then hang round mirrors, or an unusual curved shape like RMI shows above.

My humble opinion is one needs space in the bedroom to walk around, dress or for yoga, stretching, etc. But this is just my opinion, not imposing it. I have a similar size bedroom and am struggling with space, there is a big wardrobe occupying 48x24 space on the floor and a mini Godrej Almirah, which I cannot get rid off for sentimental reasons(!). Plus I have a small readymade computer table. My bed is twin single beds put together and is 60"x72". Space is a big problem, so I liked your Layout 1. Would you consider the TV to be mounted in the bottom right corner? Is it a large screen TV?

Greetings from dream design,

Pls find the reference image for your dressing cum side table in both you can hide the full dressing unit behind this full mirror as it will run parallels to the bed panel if you need a small section behind the dressing.In both it will look like it's a part of bed panel you can put the mirror on both the end of bed

Thank you Aura interiors and dream designs for your suggestions. I would like to go with the first design which dream designs have shared coz it serves both as side table and as the dressing table.
