Adding taupe or beige to the walls, in most hues, would blend in too much with the draperies. I love the lavender in the bedding. It would pull the room together if you were to choose a grey paint that had elements of lavender or berry and silver. The color would be subtle, neutral, relaxing as well as refined. This slight shimmer will pull out the subtle nuances in the marble. As the headboard is already so interesting, it would be too busy to add anything too ornate on the wall. To open up the room and increase the light, you could hang a mirror. I would select an Art Deco style with metallic accents to continue pulling together the room. The marble is lovely, but combined with the sleek lines in the bed and bedding it creates a very smooth appearance. To create warmth, it is necessary to add additional texture. I would add a soft, plush or high pile area rug by the bed. How nice would it be to step out of bed on to that?

Hi Bharath, These designs - no offence - but look a little boring. The design behind the TV, the yellow room with spots of blue and white all look a little too colourful or misfit. Also, there is nothing "new" about them. Any other options ? The light brown shade of the upper cupboards is what is making the wardrobes look boring and old. The blue and white shelves combination isn't matching the yellow wall, the brown texture behind the TV and sadly not the purple shelves. Think of it for yourself. If you want to have that yellow in the room with colours, the main recommendation would be to skip that violet indigo coloured shelf - its too loud. How about these colour combination for that room ? If its too 'dull' for you and you would rather like it we can work our way around that too. your staircase block is nice. use natural store cladding, if cost permits, else some nice stone designed tiles should also do the trick. as per the tile/stone, you can either go with the similar family for the rest of the wall painting. ensure the moldings/projections are painted in lighter tone than the walls, so that they do subtly stand out.

I've seen a lot of photos and I have come to realise that I really like the pastel/muted color pallete and have also come to know that they are good for small rooms. I really liked nickel grey and silver grey. Do both of these colors also belong to pastel color pallete? I am not able to find a separate section for pastel color pallete on asian paints' website. So it's difficult to find similar colors. Thanks for helping me.
