I agree with Dytecture about using (and matching) the red for the accent wall. And I would strongly discourage using yellow--mostly because bright yellow and bright red in the same visual field remind too many people (including me) of the ubiquitous McDonald's colors.

I would use the greens from your bedspread. Since you have green in the bedspread, and brown and white tiles, those 3 colors need to be your focal point. So I have painted your wall a bright olive green ( the darker color in your bed spread) and the ceiling either a brown to match the tile or a white to match the rest of your ceiling. then or I think this last one is a little tamer . But you should be able to paint over the tile. WHAT kind of tile is it? If it is ceramic you can paint it. You can get a custom wall art done , glass with bronze, glass painting, that wall should be a center of attraction, anyone walks. I have done this for a site, it works wonders, guest appreciate a unique feature. this can be done as DIY project on weekend also. these are some some real world executed ideas. cheers mate.

I would suggest to put the colours you are looking for in a screen (like white + dark brown which is on your cupboard + grey if you want on the accent wall). Basically asking to create a colour palette to understand how it will look into the room. If in your budget you can change the laminate of your cupboard into a lighter shade. Like just normal finish laminate without any design. Maybe change the handles. This little change can make your room more bright and lifted.
