thanks all for replies. I want to highlight the wall as rest walls are almost white and need some change. there are white tiles on the floor, red sofa set and mostly brown furniture. I have planned to give a grey texture on the front wall (hoping it will look nice with red sofa). the wall beneath the light( in the photo) will continue to be white. though I would like to highlight it in some way as I have kept a box console in the photo above which a round mirror will be hanged. pls suggest

Thanks all, for the suggestion. Yes will stick to white for all other sides of the room. one is full glass with curtains, the other is behind the sofa, a plain wall as of now with no art or anything, this is just opposite to the brick wall. The 4th side is the foyer and a small wall with a artsy clock. The living area is more an open plan, that leads to dining on one side. I am looking for wall art ideas too. I create my own art for the home, I have not gone commercial, just do some art for friends too when they ask as gifts :-). We are changing all the furniture in this room, including the softa. have ordered recliners in light brown color, A square center table with stools underneath, and a side small curio/book shelf. Hi Ramya, as per vastu the kitchen should be in the SE direction and the master bedroom should be in the SW direction, the children room can be in the NW direction. This directional details are required for a good vastu. But as I can see, layout is very different. If you can change it, then just change the master bedroom and kitchen position, even that will be alright. Vastu is just the direction science to make our living healthy. So if you cannot change it, let it be as it is.

I would suggest u to go with white sheer and light grey curtains only. If u want want to play with bright colours then it is safest if u add them in form of accessories or decors, reason one being the space is small n it’ll look more crowded then. It’s better if u avoid orange n yellow in this bedroom at least. If u can give a better picture of the accent wall colour here it would be better. Then u could go with a darker shade of it to form the colour scheme. White+Grey+Purplish brown. That’s it.
