Need help to separate dining and drawing area
Comments (8)Privacy could be obtained with a screen, placement of potted plants, an open bookcase, but I like your idea for a curved track with a curtain as one option for visual privacy. I would rotate the dining table 90 degrees and move it towards the balcony. I would remove those two chairs/tables because the layout of a single chair that far apart from another chair does not work. You may need to move the seating away from the main entrance because it looks like you walk in and you're on top of a loveseat. In such a tight space with so many doors that open in to the main living/dining - my advice is to keep it simple. Scale the furniture properly and have pieces that are multi-functional. Example- an ottoman that can serve as seating. A bench at the dining table to seat 3 on each side. I would also place two smaller loveseats facing each other in front of the fireplace. This will give you an "entry area" (along the back side of the kitchen wall) and help to define the living from dining rooms. Even if you don't have a formal entry, try to create a bit of space to welcome people....See MoreCurtain color for Living room. Turquoise and grey accent walls.
Comments (12)I would suggest u to go with white sheer and light grey curtains only. If u want want to play with bright colours then it is safest if u add them in form of accessories or decors, reason one being the space is small n it’ll look more crowded then. It’s better if u avoid orange n yellow in this bedroom at least. If u can give a better picture of the accent wall colour here it would be better. Then u could go with a darker shade of it to form the colour scheme. White+Grey+Purplish brown. That’s it....See MoreAccent wall in living room
Comments (6)Rashpreet, The wall highlighted in red is a better fit for stone cladding. Couple it with subtle wall papers for enhancing the look. Accentuate it more with repeating the pattern on the wall next to Kitchen entrance. Is this an after thought as no provisions are made for accomodating stone cladding. For eg, the ledge depth will get covered with the stone edges ? Please plan how will you accommodate that. If the TV is wall mounted, make sure that the TV clamp provision is made as drilling it afterwards is a tricky job. For the other query, You can have the boundaries defined with a contrast wood or granite. We will try to post a pic for your reference. The wall claddings displayed are exterior grade and may not suit the finer ones required for living room. See if you can find some designs that are more refined. Please call us if you need any clarifications on the above. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs Bangalore....See Moredining area accent wall
Comments (4)I think you have to make that choice all by yourself, as because what we as professionals suggests are based out of the material, cost and of course aesthetics. We can’t provide you with anything without any reference to the subject. You can use Pinterest for reference....See More- 8 years ago
