Most my doors were already here, but I did have one moved over, about 6 inches. However, the entire space was demo'd, and rebuilt, so that's not the best example to draw from. If you want the door hidden, in a pocket, yes, you will need a skilled carpenter. Essentially, the opening header and frame, will become twice it's size, with the "pocket" part, hidden behind the wall. The studs/supports will need to be removed to make a space for the door to slide into. Do you have any switches or outlets on the fireplace wall?

Hi I'm looking for a solution to close a 9.6ft opening which connects the living room to the foyer. One idea we have is a sliding door which is about 6ft wide and have a 3.5ft fixed panel on the right side of the array) see floor plan. Anyone have ideas for how to plan for a door of this sort? And deign ideas for this door? I don't want to close off the view entirely. Ideally looking to mix wood, glass and paper cutout sandwiched between the glass.. The flooring will be white marble like tile (1m x 1m). Thanks!

What are the Carpenter rates at Bangalore, India for a Sliding Doors Wardrobe. Rate per Sq Ft. Room Size 13 x 13 feet. Wardrobe planned 10 feet to Lintel 7 Feet - Total 70 Sq feet front area of Wardrobe.

Also it is not necessary to go for uPVC. I am preferring uPVC because it looks good. Any other good looking options are also welcome
