Down Rod Color

Is the down rod black or metal? Thinking the latter but couldn’t tell from a pic in one of the reviews. I was hoping to filter by Steel Lighting Co. but you aren’t included in the filter options. I will be buying 6-7 outdoor lights and love your stuff!
