Do you mean plans for construction? There are many sites on the Internet that will have samples for you. The main issue is that local ordinances require setbacks from property lines and these free samples may not fit what your local building department may require. You can usually access the setback information from your building department online, but a trip down to talk to a planner may be necessary. Start there, finding a house plan that fits within that footprint is the second step.

Do they have to be paint buckets? I would think they would not be good for gardening? Maybe others will know more about that. But in the U.S. you can get 5 gallon buckets from some local businesses like bakeries, food store chains, places like those that regularly use items they get in the buckets. For instance a bakery usually gets stuff in 5 gallon buckets and often has to throw them into a dumpster as they can only save so many. Some businesses now sell them for a small fee, maybe 1 dollar U.S. each and some just give them away. I think the cost of shipping them to India would be more than the cost of buying them. You could try setting up a fund on Kiva.org and possibly get enough donations to purchase food grade buckets instead of using ones from paint. Hello Rachna, We have gone through your posts. Please clarify the room size is it 12x8 or 16x9.3 . Let's start from bottom line, what is the budget that you can spare now for the makeover. A lot of remodelling would depend upon the budget .BTW, I really appreciate your honesty about the affordability ! Coming back to the topic, I believe your TV unit is placed in a good position but other units will require movement. Please do confirm the size. Hi Tanzil. Greetings, The plan is looking very generous. Nothing to criticize but a little thinking could make a real good plan for egl. 1) The hall could accomodate the dining area as well. 2) A single stair is sufficient enough to fulfill the requirements. depending upon where it is placed. 3) A lounge on the first floor would add the charm to the upper floor and a large balcony may be if possible. 4) Some vegetation in the interior could make it lively. 5) I f a small courtyard if not a hindrance into the central area can make it more inclined towards nature since it would be good for light and ventilation. There are a lot of other small things possible depending upon the requirements and the structural probability.There doesnt seem to be the column and beam overlay over the plan which would be also helpful in designing.
