I'd go for make it white; then right there, flop one nice little white overstuffed loveseat or something that fit, or one big whopping chair, and fit in a tiny table and light; treat that corner as it's very own micro-retreat, and the seating is to not face out into the room. Like little lounge spots put under stairs, make this one dedicated to the view; and make it minimal. Decorate the rest of the room as if the column and retreat bit isn't there.

hi u can choose the wall in front of your bed and i suggest u to paint it with charcoal gray or navy blue nd put some motivational quotes and the things u want to have in future or the places u want to go so it will become a dream wall or vision board whatever u want to call it plus it will be a focal point of a bedroom too nd i recommend u to have those quotes nd picture frames in black and white so it will add the beauty of the painted wall behind and also it wont look shabby.

i agree with Ms. Rupal Shah as to get rid of the piece or redo it. If not you could probably use wallpaper to cover it. if not that even i have a suggestion for colour pallet. the wall opposite no. 3 should also be no. 3 and the wall opposite your green unit can have a custom wallpaper with shade 5, 4, and 2. you could also get a floral mural done in the same combination. Shade no. 1 (Sage) would be perfect for tufted head board for the bed. white bedsheets with large cushions in shade no. 5 (Burgundy) and shade no. 2 (rose pink) to top it off you could have some accessories such as: Dont forget to keep 1 or a few indoor plants too! Hi Anindita, You can actually give the foyer with wardrobe a somewhat mud room kind of look. Add a closed shoe-rack right between the door and wardrobe (slim enough to accommodate opening main door and wardrobe door comfortably). Put a vase with paper flowers really bright colored(Orange or yellow) on the shoe-rack. A Ottoman next to it (in bold print) and by a tall plant (like royal/lobster claw plant) on the open end (end facing the living room). The wardrobe doors can be covered with quirky funky posters/decals of anything you like.. fav. rock bands..attitude quotes..wanderlust places..or just color blocking diy on paper. I think you can safely stick paper paintings/posters using two-way tape. Something on the lines of......... On the wall adjacent to wardrobe, add a really nice looking hanging hooks and hang a mix of hats, jhola bags & any quirky art or any hanging indoor planter. Add a area rug (toward the living room) to give some definition and such that it would look all in place when viewed form inside the house. P.S.
