A Rumford design is very shallow, has outward-flaring sides, a back that arches forward, a curve on the underside of the front lintel leading back to a broad slot-like flue with a flue chamber above it. The overall front opening is almost square, sometimes slightly taller than wide. Rumford fireplaces are very distinctive looking. Rumford developed his improvements and published them in the late 1790s, just before fireplace heating was displaced by stove heating (a process already well underway when Rumford developed his improvements). Hi Shivam, I hope you are doing good. There is no particular tile size that may look good as it completely depend kind of design you have in your perspective. If you are looking at more traditional interiors then generally smaller tiles with motifs or emblems look good which have a representative geometrical or floral patterns. If you are looking at more modern interiors then generally bigger tile sizes are preferred for clean look less joints.  Regards, deSigneR

white tiles look stunning with a navy kitchen. Navy and white are very pretty together, but a touch of wood, like a couple of open woody shelves will add a touch of warmth to the overall 'corporate' look of blue and white. If not that, add a splash of yellow accessories
